SATURDAY SEMINAR: SUB-AVAS AND SINGLE VINEYARDS: MESO- AND MICRO-CLIMATE

  • Adelsheim Vineyard 16800 Northeast Calkins Lane Newberg, OR, 97132 (map)

We say that wines can have a “sense of place,” but how specific can we get?  Let’s talk about the difference between Macro-, Meso-, and Micro-climate, and what it means in the Willamette Valley. Pinot noir is a wine revered for being particularly expressive of this sense of place, and we’ll taste several Pinots that clearly show how different they can be.

Presented by Michael Cheng, WSET L3 Adv.

Complimentary for Club Adelsheim members; $25/person for non-members.

$5 for every participant in this seminar will be donated to the Harrington Family Foundation to benefit higher education in Oregon.
