Luxurious Wine experiences on the ORegon coast
Two icons of the Pacific Northwest – the Stephanie Inn and Adelsheim Vineyard – have come together to create a series of exceptional wine experiences at the stunning Oregon coast. These intimate Adelsheim wine seminars and special offers are available exclusively to guests at the Stephanie Inn. We’re also thrilled to offer a special discount to Club Adelsheim members on bookings at the Stephanie Inn. It’s our way of saying thank you to our loyal friends, near and far, and welcoming new fans to our family.
Situated oceanfront in Cannon Beach, Oregon, the Stephanie Inn is one of those not-to-be-missed Oregon experiences: nearly every room has a sweeping view of the Pacific and Haystock Rock, Chef Aaron Bedard prepares hyper-seasonal nightly menus in the elegant dining room, and there’s a daily NW Wine Gathering and Evening Nightcap. Guests can spa, hike, take in local galleries, or relax and do absolutely nothing at all.

If you’ve ever wondered how a sommelier can tell what a wine is just by the aroma and the flavor, or why a particular wine is the perfect match for your dinner, then this program will reveal those secrets. Join one of Adelsheim’s Expert Wine Educators for an engaging and entertaining behind-the-scenes look at how Sommeliers evaluate a wine by appearance, aroma, and flavor. Our educators will explain basic wine appreciation concepts, and how all of it translates into selecting the best wine for your dinner (or selecting a wine from a wine list!). Uniquely Stephanie experiences are complimentary to guests staying two or more nights at the Inn. 45 – 60 min.
UNIQUELY STEPHANIE EXPERIENCE: WILLAMETTE VALLEY VS. BURGUNDY – HOW WE COMPARE & WHY WE’RE UNIQUELY OREGON
Monday afternoons, June 25; July 9 & 23; August 6 & 20; September 17, 2018
Oregon has the enviable reputation of being the closest thing to Burgundy for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay outside of France, but is this comparison fair? Join one of Adelsheim’s Expert Wine Educators as you explore the similarities and differences between the “terroir” of the Willamette Valley and Burgundy and understand why the wine world makes the comparison between these regions so easily. In this exploration of the geology, climate, and winemaking practices between old world Burgundy and new world Willamette Valley, you’ll never look at Willamette Valley wine the same way again! Uniquely Stephanie experiences are complimentary to guests staying two or more nights at the Inn. 45 – 60 min.

About 80 miles from Portland, Haystack Rock on Oregon’s stunning North Coast has been a beacon for generations. Before Highway 26 connected Portland to the coast, intrepid travelers would journey for seven hours to reach Cannon Beach – a trip that included the infamous Ecola Toll Road and its 111 hair-pin curves. Nestled between the ocean and the Coastal Mountain Range, Cannon Beach was magical, hard to reach, and a summer home to the many beach souls who sought relief from the noise of big city life. Today, people from all over the world come to Cannon Beach and the Stephanie Inn for the same reasons.
We are thrilled to offer Club Adelsheim members 10% off best available rate at the Stephanie Inn and a complimentary room upgrade, based on availability. Members can simply contact the Stephanie Inn and they’ll have your name on file.
