Boulder Bluff

Boulder Bluff

The vast amount of volcanic boulders that give this vineyard its name contribute to the density and distinctiveness of its wines.  Situated between 485-625 feet above sea level, the grapes benefit from the site’s warm temperatures caused by the steep southern slope and warming effect of the basalt boulders.  With unique clonal selections planted on an early ripening rootstock, the wines from Boulder Bluff Vineyard consistently contribute dark, ripe fruit characteristics with a rich sense of sweetness.
