Meet the Chef

Chef Antwan Johnson brings over two decades of experience to the culinary program at Adelsheim Vineyard. His path through the Pacific Northwest wine and hospitality industry includes the culinary team at Sokol Blosser, large-scale event production with Vibrant Table and Devils Food Catering, and time in the cellar at ROCO Winery.

Of Haitian descent, Chef Antwan has partnered with the Haitian Timoun Foundation to produce fundraising events across Oregon — work that eventually brought him to Haiti, becoming the first of his family to return since their immigration to the United States.

His cooking is rooted in Oregon terroir and scratch farmhouse technique — approachable in spirit, precise in execution. Through Palate Indigo, his private dining concept, Chef Antwan built a reputation for underground wine pairing experiences defined by creativity and indulgence. That same philosophy drives the culinary program at Adelsheim Vineyard.
