BLOOD ORANGE | CEDAR | GRACEFUL

“There is a distinct purity to the aromas of this wine—clear notes of blood orange, crushed cinnamon, and cedar bark rise out of the glass. The palate is graceful and flowing, and speaks to the long-lived nature of this wine. I look forward to watching it develop on its own timeline.
-Gina Hennen, Winemaker

Learn about
Boulder Bluff Vineyard

This fruit comes from our LIVE-certified Boulder Bluff estate vineyard. While one of our highest elevation sites, topping off at 625 feet, it’s one of the first to ripen, thanks to the ancient boulders found deep beneath the surface — warming its soil.

It may be our smallest estate vineyard at only 9.91 acres, but Boulder Bluff is the most difficult to farm. Its elevation ranges from 485 to 625 feet, and sits on a steep, south-facing hill. The volcanic soil is inhabited with large boulders that warm the roots of our Pinot noir and Chardonnay vines, but can also tip a tractor over if you’re not careful. First planted in 2003, Boulder Bluff is one of our youngest vineyards, but sits just steps away from our oldest site, Quarter Mile Lane.
